  • Food on Wheels collection begins Oct. 5, the parade to the Food Pantry will be on Sunday, Oct 18th at 1-3 pm.

Devotion holds 2 food drives for the Brookline Food Pantry annually:  Food on Wheels in the Fall and Devo Can in the Spring.  Food on Wheels is a district-wide food drive and this year Runkle, Driscoll, Pierce and Devotion will be joining forces to help those in need.

    Items Needed:

Oatmeal, pastas, canned soups, cereal, pasta sauce, canned meats, tuna fish, canned vegetables and fruits, peanut butter, jams & jelly, powdered milk (boxes of individual packages), and toiletries (soap, shampoo and toothpaste).  Please check the expiration date on the donation! The pantry can accept canned items expired up to one year.

Brookline Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that serves over 800 Brookline residents per month who are in need of food.  The pantry has experienced a dramatic increase of visits by both individuals and families the last few years.  Nearly all of the increase in usage of the Food Pantry is among families with children!  They need our help!

Load up your food and come meet us on Sunday Oct 18 at 1pm at the Devotion playground to walk  together to the Pantry.  This is a great way to get kids and grown ups  involved in community service together.

As the pantry Director has noted before, Devotion community is one of the biggest contributors to the pantry over the years, let's continue our efforts to

fight hunger in our town!  Thank you!
