HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SCHOOL MY CHILD(REN) WILL ATTEND?We have eight (8) elementary schools and one High School in our district. Assignment to school is based on your street address. To determine your school district, try our School Locator. The School Locator will show your school district and indicate whether or not your new address is in a buffer zone. |
WHAT IS A BUFFER ZONE?All of the elementary schools in Brookline have buffer zone streets in their district. Buffer zones were designed to help keep class sizes small. The Superintendent assigns student to either of the schools served by their buffer district based on the enrollment at the grade the child is entering. To learn more about Buffer Zones, click here. |
