September Updates

Contacting You In an Emergency and Protecting Your Child's Privacy

We want to make sure we have accurate contact information for your family so we can communicate updates, school information, progress reports, and when necessary, reach you in emergency situations. We also want to ensure that we are taking good care of your personal information and only sharing it in ways that you approve. We need all parents and guardians to help us stay in close contact and take care of your personal information by logging into the Parent Portal and completing the Contact and Consent Verification process. Please use the attached instruction sheet to complete this review no later than Friday, September 22nd. You can also access these directions by clicking here.

An Improved Approach to Food Services

PSB is now partnering with Whitsons Culinary Group to manage the district’s food services beginning this year. Whitsons will operate as the food service director while all other food service staff will remain in place. Whitsons is committed to working with PSB to continue improving our ability to provide options for fresh, nutritious food prepared at each of our schools and sourced locally. Your child will see improved options for breakfast and lunch, and you will have access to new tools that will help you and your child understand the nutrition information and ingredients for all offerings. For more information about our new food service approach and to view interactive menus for your child’s school simply go to Food Services homepage. To access nutrition information and ingredients go to our Menus Page and click on your child's school menu. Once you have selected your school menu, click on a day and you will be able to view nutrition information and ingredients by choosing any of the food options on the left side of the page.
