PSB Honors Educators with 30 Years of Service

Every year, the Brookline School Committee honors our educators and staff who have served in the Public Schools of Brookline for thirty years. COVID-19 forced the postponement of this celebration in 2020 and 2021, so we were very pleased to be able to celebrate honorees from the past three years at this week’s School Committee meeting. The hallmark of our school district is the passion, dedication and talent of our staff, and these honorees are shining examples of employees who have so capably devoted their professional lives to our students and community. We want to take a moment to highlight the following staff members:

2020 Honorees: Thomas Hantakas (Driscoll), Deborah Mercer (Lawrence), Hilory Rosenzweig (Lincoln)

2021 Honorees: Gretchen Albertini (Ridley), Liz Cook (Lincoln)

2022 Honorees: Jacqueline Hallo (Baker), Yaping Tang (Pierce), Marian Voros (Runkle)

The honorees were introduced by their principal, who reflected on the tremendous service that each and every one of them has given to our school district for three decades. You can watch yesterday’s recognition event in its entirety here. We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of our thirty-year staff and their dedication to our students, staff, and families!
