Baker School Recognized as 2022 National Blue Ribbon School

  • On Friday, September 16, Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recognized Baker School as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School. National Blue Ribbon Schools also serve as models of effective school practices for state and district educators and other schools nationwide. Baker was officially awarded as one of four “exemplary high-performance schools” in Massachusetts. A National Blue Ribbon School recognition is also widely acknowledged as a symbol of exemplary teaching and learning. As such, we are excited to share and model these effective practices and developments - not only with our peers in Brookline, but with other schools and educators in our nation!

Congratulations to Baker students, teachers, staff, families, and community for all of the hard work and efforts in creating a safe and engaging environment for our school. We look forward to continuing this tradition and culture of excellence in this upcoming school year and beyond!

Congratulations to Grade 1 Teacher Laura Richardson!

  • Baker teacher Laura Richardson was recently named a  2020 Presidential Awardee in Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST)!

The White House announced the most recent recipients of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. This year's teachers represent K-6th grade educators from across the United States.

Laura Richardson is one of the two (2) awardees representing the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!

Here is the briefing and you can see the information about the 2020 awardees on the www.PAEMST.org site here.

    Congratulations, Mrs. Richardson!

The Bulldog Bulletin

  •  What is The Bulldog Bulletin?

The Bulldog Bulletin is the bulletin/ newsletter for the parents and guardians of Baker School students. It contains news, upcoming events, tidbits, and "good-to-knows" for the Baker community.

Each edition of The Bulldog Bulletin is placed on the Baker School website and sent to parents via email.

    Why Bulldog?

The mascot for the Baker School is a bulldog and we are affectionately known as the “Baker Bulldogs.” So, having “The Bulldog Bulletin” for parents and for the community emphasizes our spirit and our strong "Baker Bulldog" identity.
