• Hello and welcome to the Pierce School’s website.  We are a K-8 school in Brookline that boasts over 800 wonderful “Penguins”.  I just arrived as the new principal of Pierce in July 2016 after the retirement of the beloved Pierce principal, Dr. Pipier Smith-Mumford.  I am proud to join the excellent team at Pierce.   I have worked as both an elementary principal (2010-15) and high school principal (2015-2016) in Winchester. I was also a principal in Woburn, MA. I was a teacher for 18 years teaching grades six, three, two and one. I live in north of Boston with my husband, Tim and our three children.  My children range in age from twenty-four to fifteen.  As a parent myself, I realize the importance of our partnership in working together so that all of our Pierce students can work to their full potential.

I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community and can already see that “Pierce is indeed for people.”  If you need to reach me, you may call the Pierce office at 617-730-2580 or by email at ckelley@psbma.org.

    Sincerely,

    Christine Kelley
