Hello,
My name is Sarah Devoe and I will be your student’s new science teacher. I am excited to be joining the 8th grade team at the Florida Ruffin Ridley School.
I graduated from Villanova University with my Bachelor of Science where I studied Comprehensive Science, concentrating in the Health and Life Sciences. I continued my education at Providence College where I earned my Master of Education.
This is my third year teaching science. Previously, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science courses covering earth, life, and physical sciences and the scientific method. Science allows us to examine and explore to build our understanding of the world around us.
I grew up in the Greater Boston area. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy running, reading, watching sports, and traveling.
