• 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR 

    BROOKLINE EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAM 

     

    PRESCHOOL AND PRE-K CLASSES AND LOCATIONS


    BEEP offers Preschool classes for children ages 2.9 - 3.2 in the following four locations. 

    • Beacon, 1187 Beacon Street
    • Driscoll School, 725 Washington Street
    • Lynch Center, 599 Brookline Ave 
    • Putterham, 194 Grove Street 

     

    BEEP will offer Pre-K classes for children ages 3.0- 4.11  at the following seven locations for the coming school year. 

    • Beacon, 1187 Beacon Street
    • Driscoll School, 725 Washington Street
    • Hayes School (formerly Heath), 100 Eliot Street   
    • Lynch Center, 599 Brookline Ave 
    • Putterham, 194 Grove Street 
    • Ruffin Ridley School, 345 Harvard Street 
    • Runkle School, 50 Druce Street 

     

    * If your child turns 3 in June, July or August you may choose to apply for Preschool or Prekindergarten.  If your child turns 3 after September 1, 2026 they are eligible to apply for our preschool program only.     SCHEDULE & CALENDAR

    The BEEP schedule for the 2026-2027 school year is Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 2:30pm and Friday, 8:00am- 1:40pm.  BEEP follows the Public Schools of Brookline Calendar.

     

    TUITION


    BEEP is a tuition based program. The annual tuition for BEEP for the current 2025-2026 school year is $16,740.  Tuition rates are subject to change each school year and are determined by the School Committee each spring. The 2026-2027 school year tuition rates will be voted on by the Brookline School Committee in the spring. BEEP offers annual, bi-annual and monthly payment plans.

    *A new financial assistance application is required every school year. 

     

    EXTENDED DAY OFFERINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 2026- JUNE 2027

    Extended day programs will be managed and run by private non-profit organizations at the Beacon, Driscoll and Hayes locations. At Lynch and Putterham, extended day will be managed by BEEP. Receiving a placement in BEEP does not guarantee admission in an extended day program.  Space in all of the extended day programs is limited. There are not enough placements in the extended day programs to accommodate all BEEP students.

    Extended day programs will not accept applications for the 2026-2027 school year until March 3, 2026. If your child is accepted to BEEP on March 2, you will receive an email that includes an application for extended day and instructions on how to apply. Each extended day program will conduct its own lottery and notify families by March 7 to let them know if they have a spot. 

     

    LYNCH CENTER- 599 BROOKLINE AVENUE

    Extended day for BEEP students enrolled at Lynch Center, 599 Brookline Avenue will be managed and run by BEEP.  We will offer an extended day program onsite until 5:30pm. Placement in the program will be run by a secondary lottery and is not guaranteed by acceptance into the school program. The annual tuition for BEEP Extended Day is $9,000.  For more information, email beep@psbma.org. 

     

    PUTTERHAM- 194 GROVE STREET 

    Extended day for BEEP students enrolled at Putterham, 194 Grove Street will be managed and run by BEEP.  We will offer an extended day program onsite until 5:30pm. Placement in the program will be run by a secondary lottery and is not guaranteed by acceptance into the school program. The annual tuition for BEEP Extended Day is $9,000.     BEACON- 1187 BEACON ST.

    Extended day services for BEEP students enrolled at 1187 Beacon Street are managed and run by Trust Center for Early Education(TCEE), a private non-profit organization. TCEE offers extended day onsite until 5:30pm. Space is limited. For more information, please email educationoffice@ohabei.org.

     

    HAYES SCHOOL- 100 ELIOT ST.

    Extended day services for BEEP students enrolled at Heath are managed and run by Heath Extended Day Program (HEDP), a private non-profit organization. HEDP offers extended day onsite until 5:45 pm. For more information, please email heathextendedday@gmail.com.

     

    DRISCOLL SCHOOL- 725 WASHINGTON ST.

    Extended day services for BEEP students enrolling at Driscoll School will be  managed and run by Driscoll Extended Day Program (DEDP), a private non-profit organization. For more information, please email program@dedpbrookline.org.

     

    * EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR BEEP STUDENTS ENROLLED AT RUFFIN RIDLEY SCHOOL AND RUNKLE SCHOOL.

     

    RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT

    Given that BEEP is part of the Brookline Public Schools, Brookline residency is required to apply. For residency questions, please email enroll@psbma.org
