     POW #1: Lining Up

     There are 21 students in Ms. Wolf's class.

     POW #2: All Aboard The train will be full at the 12th stop, with 78 passengers. 
     POW#3: What's the Sum? The sum is 99.
    POW #4: Bat-tastic The wingspan is 15 feet.
    POW#5:  How Many Boxes? There are a total of 40 boxes, including all sizes.
    POW #6:  Painted Faces There are 20 painted faces.
    POW #7: Building Blocks There are 56 blocks.
    POW #8: Chickens and Rabbits Jesse had 22 chickens and 8 rabbits.
    POW #9: Broken Cookies The baker had 3 whole cookies.
    POW #10: Horsin' Around  It takes Zachary 8 hours to complete the journey.
    POW #11:  Pizza Party Each person will receive 1 and 3/4 of a pizza.
    POW #12: Starting to Save James will have enough money in his savings ($155.00) in May.
    POW #13: Pizza Dough Recipe  Maria needs 2 and 1/4 cups of water to make enough dough for 9 people.
    POW#14:  Birthday Trip The trip to Aunt Mazie's house is 180 miles.
    POW #15:  Sums on a Clock The greatest sum on a 12-hour digital clock would be 23 (At 9:59, the sum of the digits is 23.)
    POW #16: Date and Time After 20 rotations, it will be 5:00 am on March 4th.
    POW#17: Balancing Equations There are many solutions including these. Email tara_washburn@psbma.org if you find others or errors.

    8: 6+2=9-1, 5+3=9-1;

    7= 3+4=9-2, 5+2=8-1, 3+4=8-1;

    6: 2+4=7-1, 2+4=9-3,1+5=9-3, 1+5=8-2;

    5: 2+3=6-1, 2+3=9-4, 4+1=8-3, 4+1=7-2;

    4: 3+1=9-5, 3+1=8-4, 3+1=6-2;

    3: 2+1=9-6, 2+1=8-3, 2+1=7-4, 2+1=6-3

    POW#18:  Book Fair Money  Ben could have two $5.00 bills and 8 quarters OR Ben could have a $10 bill and a $1.00 and 2 quarters, 4 dimes and 2 nickels. Can you find any other combinations?
    POW #19: Walking to School It takes Ben 3 minutes to walk to Lin's house.
    POW #20: 30 Grapes Andrew ate 2 grapes on Monday.
    POW #21: Triangles of Ten A Solution
    POW #22: Magic Square Jumble  Magic Square Jumble Answer
    POW #23: Change for a Dollar Some answers are: You could have 9 dimes and 1 quarter or 8 dimes and 1 quarter, or 3 quarters and 3 dimes or....
    POW #24: How Many Quadrilaterals? There are 36 different quadrilaterals.
