District Strategic Plan

  • During the 2022-23 school year, PSB will embark on a collaborative, community-led process to develop a multi-year strategic plan.

Utilizing the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE) Planning for Success model, the district’s Leadership Team and an inclusive Community Planning Team (CPT) share the plan. The strategic planning work officially kicked off in Spring 2023 under the guidance of Dr. Ruth Gilbert-Whitner.

The CPT consists of over 40 members representing a rich mix of experiences and perspectives that mirror our school community, including parents/guardians, educators, district leaders, students, and community partners. From March through June 2023, the CPT and will assist in community-wide visioning sessions so that together we may envision the future of the Public Schools of Brookline.
