In the School Committee meeting dated January 9th, 2025, the School Committee passed a motion to approve the school calendar for 2025-26.

Thursday, December 19th, was a thrilling afternoon at the Roland Hayes School, as students tested their engineering skills by careening down the school's steep hill.
Earlier this month, the Hayes, Runkle and Ruffin Ridley Schools held mock trials along with their after-school partner Discovering Justice, a civic education non-profit that works with students to introduce them to the workings of the legal system.
